Evrnu, a Seattle-based startup offering textile waste minimizing solutions, has raised USD 15 million in a Series B funding round led by FullCycle Climate Partners. New investors Hansae, Bestseller, and PDS Venture also participated.
The fresh funds will be funneled toward the development of Evrnu’s technology platform “NuCycl” (which uses a re-polymerization process that allows converting textile waste into renewable fibers) and to scale production of the fiber made via its technology.
Evrnu operates an extrusion line in New Jersey, a chemical lab in Seattle, and a recycling plant in South Carolina. With the new funds, Evrnu plans to expand its facilities in the South Carolina region and to recruit new employees for strategic positions in growth functions and technical roles.
Evrnu also reported that it is signing R&D contracts in deploying its technology into home furnishing and automotive industries, and is looking to partner with global supply chain partners to commercialize its technologies.
