Ilke Homes, a British developer of single-family modular houses, has raised GBP 60 million (approximately USD 82 million); half in equity and half in debt. Equity participants in the round included Sun Capital, Guinness Partnership, Middleton Enterprises, and TDR Capital. The Debt portion of the funding was provided by the government’s housing accelerator Homes England.
The funds will be used to scale the company’s operations by investing in automation, increasing its daily production capacity from two to eight houses, and securing more sites to reach its target of delivering 10,000 modular homes over the next five years.
