Bioenergy Devco (BDC), a Maryland-based developer involved in converting organic waste into renewable energy and healthy soil products, has raised USD 100 million in a capital funding round from investment management firm Irradiant Partners.
The funding will be allocated to develop anaerobic digestion facilities across North America, catering to BDC’s goal to deploy its technology to recycle organic waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, the company is developing over 20 anaerobic digesters in the US, including two under construction in Delaware and Maryland.
