Revo Foods, a European plant-based seafood company, is expected to host a tasting event on March 6th, 2021, for the debut of the world’s first 3D-printed, plant-based salmon called “Salmon with Attitude,” in partnership with Budapest Bagels cafe. The Salmon with Attitude is made with 11 ingredients and is fortified with high protein content and plant-based omega-3 fatty acids.
The public tasting will be held prior to the commercial launch of its plant-based seafood products, smoked salmon strips and smoked salmon spread, which will be launched across retail outlets in Vienna during summer 2021.
Revo Foods, formerly known as Legendary Vish, uses pea protein, citrus fiber, plant oils, and algae extract to produce its non-3D-printed, plant-based seafood products, such as smoked salmon strips and smoked salmon spread, which can be consumed cold with no preparations. Revo Foods intends to create an automated production process for its plant-based seafood products and produce plant-based salmon sashimi by leveraging its 3D printing technology.
