Zwipe pilots biometric payment cards in India and MENA

Partnerships

  • Zwipe, a company offering biometric payment card inlays, is partnering with Easy Pay (payment solutions company) and KL HI-TECH (Zwipe’s Indian manufacturing partner) to pilot biometric payment cards in India, with the aim of launching commercially by Summer-2022.

  • Zwipe also announced a pilot of biometric payment cards in the MENA region, with an undisclosed medium-sized bank in Lebanon, in collaboration with an electronic payment technology company, Areeba, in H1 2022. 

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Zwipe has entered into several partnerships to launch its biometric payment solutions in the MENA region, including its recent partnerships with NetPS (November), Credit Libanais , and QPS (October), and International Card Processing Services Ltd (July). Moreover, it has also partnered with Financial Software and Systems in May 2021, for global distribution, including in India, MENA, Canada, and Europe.</ul>
