Urban-gro, a US-based listed controlled-environment-agriculture (CEA) systems provider for food and cannabis cultivation, entered into a partnership with Thrive Agritech, a New York-based LED lighting systems company.

As per the partnership, Thrive Agritech will be the authorized supplier of LED lighting systems for Urban-gro’s integrated solutions. Thrive’s solution claims to improve plant health and morphology using phosphor technology, which produces photosynthetic light, to optimize plant growth. Urban-gro customers are expected to benefit from a fully integrated solution combining the LED lighting portfolio of Thrive, including brands like Apex and Pinnacle, Boost, and Infinity, with turnkey CEA solutions of urban-gro.
