BUX, a Dutch online brokerage that offers commission-free trading of equities and ETFs through its flagship platform, has added cryptocurrency trading options to its BUX Zero platform.
The addition of crypto to its BUX Zero platform will provide investors with a full suite of investment options to build a diversified portfolio with a range of instruments. Investors will be able to trade in over 20 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. The new feature will initially be available to customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Ireland, with plans to roll out in its other operating markets later.
The announcement follows the acquisition of social cryptocurrency investment platform Blockport in January 2020, following which the company launched its own crypto offering “BUX Crypto.” The amalgamation of BUX Crypto into BUX Zero will offer investors a centralized location to create balanced investment portfolios.
