California-based AI clinical data analytics company Verana Health has raised USD 150 million in a Series E funding round led by Johnson & Johnson Innovation and Novo Growth. Existing investors GV (formerly Google Ventures) and Brook Byers, and new investors Merck Global Health Innovation Fund and Breyer Capital, also participated in the round, among others.
The proceeds will be injected into the company’s product offerings across the drug development process, as well as to enhance its data network and pursue new clinical data partnerships. The funds will also be used to develop its AI capabilities further, to offer improved insights.
