B2B plant-based protein company Above Food has announced a partnership with French food tech company Umiami to further improve plant-based whole cut meat analogs.
The two entities will collaborate on R&D, including scaling production techniques for the development of texturized whole cut meat and fish analogs, using a variety of Above Food's patented protein components. Umiami’s technology to create a thick, fibrous whole cut of meat will allow Above Food to offer plant-based proteins without sacrificing texture and size.
