Scratchpad, a platform offering workspace for sales teams, raised USD 13 million led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Accel. As part of the investment, Craft Ventures founder David Sacks, a founding COO of PayPal and co-founder of Yammer, will join Scratchpad’s board of directors.
The funding proceeds will be funneled into product development and to boost hiring. The company expects to either double or triple its headcount by the end of 2021.
Founded in 2019, Scratchpad connects to Salesforce and allows sales reps to organize their notes and process workflows, spreadsheets, and tasks in one space. The tool can be used as a Google Chrome extension or web application. Its clients include Autodesk, Brex, Lacework, Snowflake, and Twilio. The company was founded by Pouyan Salehi and Cyrus Karbassiyoon, who also co-founded the sales engagement platform PersistIQ.
