N-able acquires Adlumin for USD 266 million to strengthen cybersecurity offerings

  • N-able, a Boston-based MSP platform provider, has acquired Washington D.C.-based security operations vendor Adlumin for up to USD 266 million. The transaction includes USD 100 million in cash at close, 1.57 million shares of N-able stock, USD 120 million in cash over two years, and up to USD 30 million based on performance metrics.

  • Through this acquisition, N-able aims to integrate IT management, data protection, and security into a unified ecosystem. The deal is expected to be immediately accretive to annual recurring revenue growth, with long-term contributions to cash flow expected by late 2025. It will also help N-able enter the USD 163 million cybersecurity services market.

  • Founded in 2016, Adlumin provides cloud-native XDR and MDR solutions with USD 22 million in annual recurring revenue and a 60% annual growth rate. The company offers threat detection, threat intelligence, ransomware prevention, and compliance automation expertise across endpoints, SaaS applications, and networks.
