The round follows its USD 5 million seed round that launched Dutch out of beta in July 2021, bringing the company's total funding to USD 25 million. </ul>
The company intends to use the funds to secure its intellectual property and for product development as well as to expand its pharmacy network to allow same-day and next-day delivery. Additionally, Dutch plans to expand its team, increase spend on customer acquisition tools, and expand its veterinary network.
The platform is currently available in 18 states including New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Washington and has served 25,000+ pets through 100 licensed veterinarians to date.
