California-based AI data analytics company DNAnexus has raised USD 200 million in a Series I funding round led by Blackstone Growth, with participation from existing investors Northpond Ventures, GV, and Foresite Capital.
The round reportedly values the company at USD 600 million, and the funds raised will be directed toward further developing the company’s core genomics and multi-omics platform, which currently accommodates 65 petabytes of data accessed by over 12,000 users. The proceeds will fuel the platform’s AI and machine learning capabilities and accelerate the commercial deployment of the platform globally.
