Forma, an employee benefits platform, has raised USD 40 million in a Series B funding round led by Ribbit Capital with participation from all of its existing investors, including Emergence Capital, Stripe, Designer Fund, Upside Partnership, and AngelPad.
The fresh funds will be used to accelerate product development, invest in sales and marketing to focus on large enterprises, and expand its scope to cover more areas such as flexible spending accounts (FSA) for healthcare, dental, commuter benefits, vision insurance benefits, and retirement savings plans. The company plans to use the fresh funds to expand its product offerings and double its team size by 2023. Forma has already expanded its headcount from 22 at the beginning of 2021 to ~140 as of March 2022.
