Bear Robotics, the developer of “Servi” robot waiters, has raised USD 81 million in a Series B funding round led by IMM Investment Corp with participation from investors including Cleveland Avenue. This brings the company’s total funds raised to USD 117 million.
The company intends to utilize the funds to introduce new products to automate hospitality industry tasks, expand its reach to Europe and Southeast Asia, and to expand its team.
Today, Bear Robotics also revealed that it has delivered 5,000+ Servi robots to partners in the US, South Korea, and Japan, including Pepsi, Denny’s, Compass Group, Marriot, and Chili’s.
