The EVERY company, a California-based plant-based egg producer, launched its third product, EVERY EggWhite, by featuring the product in a line of egg-free macarons via an agreement with Chantal Guillon, a San Francisco patisserie brand.
The macarons will be available nationwide in the US via shipping for a limited period of time through preorders and will also be available in Chantal Guillon stores and in the Bay Area via delivery partners. The collaboration will offer macarons in the dark chocolate, Earl Grey, passion fruit, pistachio, strawberry, and Tahitian vanilla flavors.
EVERY EggWhite is an animal-free egg white protein manufactured from sugar and yeast and produced by leveraging precision fermentation. According to the company, EVERY EggWhite replicates the texture, whips, and gels to provide the same height, foam stability, and aeration similar to its chicken counterpart. Although the product is vegan, the product contains proteins identical to chicken eggs and therefore requires egg allergen warnings.
