Koidra, a Seattle-based startup offering an AI and IoT-based software platform to support farmers with decision making, has raised USD 4.5 million in a seed funding round led by Ospraie Ag Science (OAS). Investors including Amritam Holdings, Cavallo Ventures, and Foothill Ventures also joined the round.
With the new funds, Koidra plans to expand its software solution for use beyond agriculture to allow automating factories. Thus far, the company has been mainly focusing on supporting the automation of greenhouses and farms.
