Sunscoop, a Brooklyn-based plant-based ice cream startup, has raised USD 2 million in a funding round led by Vibrant Ventures. Other participating investors were H/L Ventures, Torch Capital, and early angel investors.
According to the company, the proceedings will be utilized to launch novel products and flavors including Cold Brew Swirl and Cookie Whoa! flavors and two shelf-stable SKUs, to recruit more staff, and to expand distribution through both the retail and DTC channels.
