These facilities, located in Sydney and Melbourne, utilize the automated Ocado Smart Platform and are designed to provide enhanced freshness and efficiency for Coles customers. Although opening was delayed by a year, the centers are now fully operational, expanding the global tally of Ocado's CFCs to 25. This alliance, which was first established in 2019, is predicted to strengthen Coles' presence in Australia's evolving online grocery market.</p>

 <p>Takeoff Technologies, a company offering automated micro-fulfillment solutions for grocery retailers, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is planning to sell some or all of its assets. The filing follows financial difficulties experienced by the company, partially due to problems securing extra equity funding.</p>
 <p>The company has entreated the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to approve a financing agreement worth USD 9.6 million with a group of its customers, this is known as debtor-in-possession financing. If granted approval, this financing would enable the company to sustain operations while it carries out a sales process. If no potential buyers step forward, the debtor-in-possession customer group might buy parts of the business.</p>
