Bowery Farming introduces a new product line

  • Bowery Farming just launched a new product category called New Farmer’s Selection, which will include a line of flavorful greens curated by its research and development team.

  • The first greens to be launched under the new category are Mustard Frills, a hearty mustard green. The product will be available throughout the spring of 2021, and after that, another product, Green Sorrel, will be introduced. The company aims to release a new product every few months.

  • Bowery Farming currently has three vertical farms: two commercial farms in Kearny, New Jersey, and another one in Nottingham, Maryland, which is the largest. In December 2020, the company announced that it would establish its fourth vertical farm in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The company has developed proprietary software, BoweryOS, to control farm operations and create an optimal growing environment for crops. Bowery Farming sells greens and herbs to nearby restaurants and grocery stores as well as via online channels.
