UK-based telepsychiatry provider, Unmind, announced the acquisition of Ireland-based telepsychiatry platform, Frankie Health, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will enable Unmind to launch a preventive employee well-being service known as “Unmind Talk.”
Unmind Talk will provide employees of enterprise clients with access to telepsychiatry sessions with professionals who are part of a global network, along with access to Unmind’s digital tools. The service will also provide employers with anonymized analytics on topics including employee turnover, decreased mental health, and absenteeism.
After the acquisition, Frankie’s co-founders will remain on the company’s board.
