 <p>Swedish company Ekobot, developers of autonomous electric weeding robots utilizing AI and camera sensors, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Homburg Belgium for distribution of its WEAI robotic systems in Belgium. The robots detect and mechanically remove weeds.</p>
 <p>Homburg Belgium will handle marketing, sales, delivery, training, support, and service needs in Belgium, as well as handle spare parts and warranty issues.</p>
 <p>The partnership is effective immediately with Homburg Belgium setting a goal to sell five Ekobot robotic systems between 2024 and early 2025.</p>

 <p>Swedish company Ekobot, which develops autonomous electric weeding robots using AI, has appointed agricultural equipment manufacturer, Homburg Holland, as the importer for its products to the Netherlands. Homburg Holland plans to sell 10 Ekobots in 2024 and early 2025, with deliveries scheduled for the 2025 growing season. Apart from sales and marketing, the company is also responsible for delivery, training, support, servicing, spare parts, and warranties.</p>

 <p>Ekobot, a Swedish firm building autonomous electric weed-removing robots, has secured a SEK 3 million (~USD 0.3 million) loan from primary shareholders, the board, and an external investor. The interest-free loan matures on May 31, 2024, with a 10% interest rate starting April 1, 2024. The funds will ensure ongoing operations until long-term financing is secured in Q1 2024. Ekobot also foresees a SEK 1.8 million (~USD 0.2 million) installment from a SEK 9.2 million (~USD 0.9 million) grant by the Swedish Board of Agriculture and EU's EIP-AGRI program in Q1 2024.</p>
