  <li><p>The company deployed Daimler’s battery-electric Freightliner “eCascadia” truck, which will operate between the retailer’s distribution centers in Boucherville, Quebec, and the stores in the Greater Montreal Area. Loblaw plans to deploy four more trucks in the coming months.&nbsp;</p></li>
  <li><p>The eCascadia is the first series production electric truck delivered to a Canadian customer. It is suitable for short-haul routes and can transport up to 82,000 lb up to 370 km (~230 miles) on a single charge.</p></li>
  <li><p>Loblaw aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions, including the decarbonization of its fleet of over 160 company-owned day-cab trucks by 2030. The deployment of electric trucks is part of this initiative.</p></li>
