 Broadcom plans to sell its recently acquired VMware's end-user computing (EUC) business to KKR, a private equity firm, for USD 3.8 billion.
 The EUC division deal exhibits Broadcom's focus on restructuring and optimizing its business operations per market needs. The EUC business primarily deals with software that manages and optimizes end-user computing devices.
 Post-acquisition, the transition shows Broadcom's strategic choice to enhance its competitive edge and promote steady growth in its core areas. Further, Broadcom is also looking at divesting VMware's security software sector, Carbon Black. Meanwhile, the acquisition is in keeping with KKR's history of strategic acquisitions within the technology sector.
