Hopper announced its partnership with CommBank, Australia's largest bank, to offer travel features within the bank's app.

The features will be added through Hopper’s B2B initiative, Hopper Cloud, and will include price predictions, data-driven recommendations, and alert technology for booking flights, hotels, and rental cars. It will also integrate with the CommBank Awards program, allowing customers to earn and redeem rewards through the Hopper-powered platform. The platform will provide CommBank customers with a singular platform to manage their travel finances. 

Analyst QuickTake: In June 2022 , Hopper added hotel insurance, a price freeze for car rentals, and trip protection functionality to its platform, aiming to build a travel “super app.” Additionally, Hopper partnered with Capital One in November 2022 to launch Capital One Travel, a program similar to that offered to CommBank customers.
