        MedStar Health, a Maryland-based not-for-profit healthcare company, has launched a new patient engagement platform, partnering with an integrated digital care solution provider, b.well Connected Health.
      </p>

        The platform enables patients to schedule appointments with primary care, urgent care, or telehealth providers 24/7 via both its website and mobile app. At present, nearly half of the app users have scheduled physician appointments outside of business hours.

      <p>
        It also offers access to patient medical records via electronic health record (EHR) integration, test results, physician ratings, calendar management, and reminders. The platform&rsquo;s digital wallet feature allows patients to store their health-related documents such as the vaccine card and insurance card in a single location for easy access.
      </p>

      <p>
        The companies plan to further build out the patient app and platform, allowing patients to integrate records with wearables, make medical bill payments, and receive condition-based personalized medical alerts.
