 <p>BP has reduced its staff in BP Pulse, its EV charging business, by over 10% due to underwhelming growth in commercial EV fleets. BP Pulse has also withdrawn from various markets it initially targeted.</p>
 <p>More than 100 professionals were laid off out of a worldwide staff of 900 in BP Pulse. The initial target of operating in 12 countries was downsized to four - namely the US, UK, Germany, and China.</p>

  <li><p>Tesla has announced that bp has placed a $100 million order for its fast chargers. This will help expand the bp pulse public network in the US and support EV fleet customers with chargers at their private depots.</p></li>
  <li><p>It will be the first time bp buys charging infrastructure from an independent EV charging network.</p><</li>
  <li><p>The chargers will be provided in 2024 and include bp’s key brands' locations, like TravelCenters of America, Thorntons, ampm, and Amoco, as well as bp pulse’s large-scale Gigahub charging sites. Third-party locations like Hertz and select bp pulse fleet customer depots will also have chargers.</p></li>
