 <p>TuSimple, an autonomous trucking company, is laying off 150 of its remaining US employees and winding down its US operations after a five-month review failed to <a href="https://sp-edge.com/updates/19768"> find buyers </a> for its business. The layoffs represent 75% of its remaining US workforce and 19% of its global staff.</p>
 <p>The company expects to incur a one-time restructuring charge of around USD 7 million–8 million, including severance, employee transition benefits, and related costs. The remaining US staff will be tasked with concluding the company's US operations, including selling US assets. Most of the remaining 700 global employees are now based in Asia and China, as TuSimple focuses on this region.</p>
