        dYdX, a decentralized exchange protocol, announced plans to wind down its service in Canada by pausing the enrollment of new Canadian users and shifting all Canadian users to &quot;close-only mode&quot; as of April 14, 2023.

        Canadian users will only be able to execute and close trades as of April 14, although dYdX will still allow the users to withdraw funds due to recent regulatory developments in Canada.

        dYdX has cited recent regulatory developments in Canada as the reason for no longer offering its services to Canadian users. The new rules prohibit Canadian clients from signing crypto contracts to buy and sell any crypto asset that is a security and/or a derivative, according to the Canadian Securities Administration.&nbsp;

    </li>
    <li>
      <p>
        Other crypto companies, including Blockchain.com and OKX, have also suspended operations in Canada, while Coinbase and Kraken plan to stay in the country.
      </p>
