        New York-based heart disease prevention startup Cleerly has raised USD 192 million in an oversubscribed Series C funding round, just over a year since its Series B round took place in June 2021. This brings total funds raised to USD 248 million to date. The latest round was co-led by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., T. Rowe Price Investment Management, Inc., and Fidelity Management and Research Company, with participation from new and existing investors including Cigna Ventures and Novartis.&nbsp;

        The new funds will be used to expand its human resources, extend its commercial presence, and invest in large-scale clinical trials. The firm has over 12 clinical trials that are currently underway, which will be enrolling more than 100,000 patients in over the next 10 years.
