Pairpoint, a blockchain-based IoT platform developed as a joint venture between Vodafone Group and Sumitomo Corporation, has partnered with Deloitte and Nexxiot to offer new solutions for improved cargo management.

The collaboration will combine Pairpoint's blockchain-based platform, Nexxiot's freight solutions, and Deloitte's KYC services to offer solutions for detailed audit trails for shipping containers, legal compliance, and asset management. 

Moreover, the platform will enable customers to leverage programmable smart contracts to digitize and automate supply chain processes. These include building automated customs clearing containers and digitizing end-to-end shipping documentation.
