Zopa, a UK-based neobank, has raised £75 million in Tier-2 capital led by IAG SilverStripe, bringing its total capital raised this year to £150 million. The funds will be used to strengthen finances, develop new products, fuel growth, and explore suitable acquisitions. Zopa currently serves one million customers and is on track for an annualized revenue run rate of £250 million. In addition to this funding, Zopa has recently acquired DivideBuy, entered the BNPL market, and launched a smart Individual Savings Account that allows tax-free savings up to £20,000.

UK neobank Zopa has raised £75m ($93m) in an equity investment round, bringing its total funding to $885m. The funding will be used to develop new financial products, expand its customer base and make acquisitions. Zopa currently has over 850,000 customers, has surpassed £3bn in savings deposits, distributed £2bn in loans, and issued 400,000 credit cards. The company aims to be profitable for the whole of 2023, which would be a first for the company. The funding round was carried out by existing investors, with Softbank notably absent.
