        Didomi, a French privacy management platform, has announced the acquisition of Agnostik, a data privacy startup, following a long-standing partnership between the two companies. Didomi has not revealed the acquisition cost; however, it hinted that it was around the low seven-figure mark.

        Founded in 2015, Agnostik provides data privacy and compliance services to allow organizations to ensure the highest data privacy practices and to maintain compliance with privacy regulations such as the GDPR. The company&rsquo;s solution comprises actionable privacy compliance insights and automation tools that automatically monitor websites to reveal privacy flags such as hidden spots, cookies, and third parties to provide email alert to users with instructions to address the issue in their consent notice configuration. The company has a headcount of 13 and serves customers such as Groupe Figaro, Dyson, and Meteo France.

        The acquisition of Agnostik will allow Didomi to strengthen its existing compliance offerings with privacy monitoring solutions. The acquisition will allow the company&rsquo;s customers to access expert advice in Privacy Ad Operations (Privacy AdOps) dealing with user privacy standards and irregular privacy practices such as dark patterns. Customers will also be more informed about the privacy stance of a website and will be able to reach the highest levels of privacy certifications and brand safety.
