        Firefly Aerospace, an American aerospace company, has doubled the size of its Rocket Ranch manufacturing facilities in Briggs, Texas, from 92,000 to 207,000 sq ft. This includes two new buildings for rocket production, assembly, and integration.

        The company added two new test stands and installed machinery to support the production of Northrop Grumman&rsquo;s Antares 330 and the Medium Launch Vehicle (MLV). Firefly also built a higher-thrust engine stand to test its Miranda and Vira engines, which can produce up to 230,000 lbs of thrust and have 5x the load capacity of the current Reaver and Lightning engine stand.

        The company also carried out the construction of a 100-foot structural test stand to conduct pressurized axial loading to mimic flight loads. This brings the company&rsquo;s total test stands at the Briggs facility to six.

 <p>Firefly Aerospace, an aerospace company based in the United States, has expanded its Rocket Ranch manufacturing facilities located in Briggs, Texas. The expansion has doubled the size of the facilities from 92,000 square feet to 207,000 square feet, which includes two new buildings dedicated to rocket production, assembly, and integration.</p>
 <p>As part of this expansion, the company has added two new test stands and equipped the facility with new machinery to aid in the production of Northrop Grumman’s Antares 330 and the Medium Launch Vehicle (MLV). They have also constructed a higher-thrust engine stand for the testing of their Miranda and Vira engines. These new engines can generate up to 230,000 lbs of thrust, making them five times more powerful than the existing Reaver and Lightning engine stand.</p>
 <p>Additionally, Firefly Aerospace has built a 100-foot structural test stand, which is used to conduct pressurized axial loading tests meant to emulate flight loads. This construction brings the total number of test stands at the Briggs facility to six.</p>

<p>Firefly Aerospace and Fleet Space Technologies have partnered for a lunar mission. Firefly will deliver and operate Fleet's SPIDER payload to the far side of the Moon. The payload will capture seismic data from the lunar surface for two weeks, supporting future Moon habitation. The data will provide insights for sustaining human life beyond Earth. Firefly Aerospace partners with Fleet Space Technologies for lunar exploration mission

Firefly Aerospace has conducted a successful launch for the US Space Force, demonstrating its ability to launch in a shorter timeframe for national security missions. The launch involved the Firefly Alpha rocket and aimed to showcase Tactically Responsive Space capabilities. The mission included the rapid integration of a space vehicle by Millennium Space Systems, as well as fueling operations and mating with the Alpha rocket's payload adapter, all completed in under 58 hours.

Firefly launches Space Force ‘Victus Nox’ mission

Firefly Aerospace and L3Harris Technologies have reached an agreement for three missions to be launched on Firefly's Alpha rocket. The missions, scheduled for 2026, will carry satellites developed by L3Harris under a $225 million contract with the US Government. These satellites will be used for national security space missions. Firefly is expanding its facilities to accommodate government and commercial launches and is also working on a new medium launch vehicle set to launch in 2025.
