Payhawk, a business expense card and payout management platform, obtained an electronic money institution (EMI) license in the UK from the financial conduct authority (FCA). The license allows the company to directly issue electronic money, process digital payments and provide card issuance and payment solutions to customers in the UK.

Additionally, the company has appointed Gareth Walsh as the group chief compliance officer and Maor Fishman as the vice president of payments and operations.
