Zscaler announces zero-trust SASE with new SD-WAN solution

 <p>Cloud security company, Zscaler, listed on Nasdaq, is reportedly negotiating to purchase Israeli open-data platform, Avalor. The estimated acquisition cost, though unofficial, ranges between USD 250 million and USD 350 million. </p>
 <p>Avalor's function includes data aggregation from various sources such as data warehouses, SQL databases, legacy systems, and applications. Its platform facilitates analyzing risks, incorporating comprehensive organizational data analysis over simply focusing on security-specific data.</p>
</div> <p><b>Analyst QuickTake: </b> If negotiations are successful, Avalor will be Zscaler’s third such acquisition in Israel, following the <a href="https://sp-edge.com/updates/16393"> purchase </a> of Canonic in February 2022 <a href="https://www.zscaler.com/press/zscaler-addresses-entitlement-gap-cloud-workloads-acquisition-trustdome"> and </a> Trustdome in April 2021.</p>
