The funding will be used for the scaling up of commercial operations and expanding its consumer base. Since its inception in 2020, Kafene has processed over USD 150 million in total sales for its retail partners.</p>

Kafene secures USD 15 million in venture debt facility

Furniture and durable goods Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) provider, Kafene, has secured $12.6m in Series B extension funding. The round was led by Third Prime and included participation from investors such as Uncorrelated Ventures, Company Ventures and Xffirmers. This brings Kafene's total funding to $134.6m, with its Series B funding reaching close to $31m. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its merchant partnerships and allocate more capital to consumer underwritings. So far, Kafene has facilitated over $100m worth of lease-to-own agreements for customers in the US purchasing big-ticket items like furniture, appliances, electronics and tyres.
