Bitsight, a cyber risk management company, has acquired Cybersixgill, a cyber threat intelligence data provider, for USD 115 million.
Through this acquisition, Bitsight aims to integrate Cybersixgill's threat intelligence capabilities into its External Attack Surface Management and Continuous Third Party Monitoring offerings. It also plans to apply Cybersixgill's GenAI models to its cyber security exposure data to provide enhanced threat hunting, adversary intelligence, and vulnerability intelligence services.
Cybersixgill extracts real-time data from deep and dark web forums, messaging groups, code repositories, and other platforms. The company uses GenAI through its Cybersixgill IQ product to translate threat intelligence data into comprehensible insights and analysis.
