Bristow Group, a provider of helicopter services to the worldwide offshore energy industry, has confirmed its plans to gradually incorporate advanced air mobility (AAM) aircraft into its fleet.
The company claims that the future AAM fleet will include at least seven eVTOL models and one eSTOL aircraft due to Bristow's partnerships with various startups like Beta Technologies, Elroy Air, and Lilium. Bristow’s fleet will incorporate these electric air mobility solutions following their anticipated certification and market availability by mid-decade.
Bristow expects incorporating AAM aircraft into their operations will help major energy sector clients meet their net-zero targets and sustainability goals.
