Berlin-based digital-first fertility care provider Ovom Care raised EUR 4.8 million (USD 5.1 million) in a seed funding round led by Alpha Intelligence Capital with Ananda Impact Ventures and Merantix also contributing.
The funds will accelerate the growth of Ovom Care services throughout Europe. This includes launching its first directly owned clinic in Portugal, expected by the end of 2024.
Ovom Care leverages a digital platform to provide a range of services, including fertility assessments, preservation, treatments, and in vitro fertilization (IVF). The company distinguishes itself by integrating AI-driven decision support tools with personalized in-person care, aiming to revolutionize the fertility care journey for its patients. The firm also offers reimbursements if a pregnancy does not occur, reducing financial stress for patients trying to start families.
