M&A

  • Cybersecurity giant Palo Alto Networks is reportedly acquiring assets from IBM's QRadar Security SaaS suite to strengthen its Cortex extended security intelligence and automation management (XSIAM) platform. The deal is expected to close by the end of September 2024.

  • The planned acquisition will also include intellectual property rights from IBM’s QRadar program, and customers will be migrated from QRadar SaaS to Cortex XSIAM once the deal is finalized.
