The company claims 99.9% infrastructure uptime, handling 4 billion+ API calls daily, as well as sending 35 billion messages and 3.4 billion webhooks in 2023, supported by round-the-clock global coverage.  

In 2022, the company acquired Gist, an in-app messaging solution (in July), and Parcel, a coding platform for email creation (in August), to bolster its product offering.

In March 2022, Customer.io raised an undisclosed amount in a Series A funding round led by Spectrum Equity to expand its team and product portfolio. This funding round came after the company reported annual recurring revenue (ARR) of USD 29.9 million in 2021, up 78% YoY.
