Fleek offers a Web3 developer platform that offers a suite of tools for developers to build applications across the Web3 ecosystem with support for base networks such as Ethereum and other protocols such as Filecoin. The company offers InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) hosting and gateways, storage, and Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains.
Moreover, the company is developing Fleek Network, which consists of 1) a decentralized content and application delivery network, allowing anyone to run nodes and provide resources to the network, and 2) a decentralized edge platform that allows enterprises to build and deploy high-end Web3 applications. The platform's architecture is protocol-agnostic and modular, which enables it to integrate and add value to any Web3 protocol, service, and app. Use cases of the platform include a decentralized content delivery network and a broad range of decentralized edge services such as serverless operations, server-side rendering (SSR), container orchestration, and different database capabilities.
Funding and financials
Fleek raised USD 25 million in a Series A funding round in December 2022, led by Polychain Capital alongside other investors such as Coinbase Ventures and Protocol Labs. It had geared the fresh capital to build its platform and the Fleek Network as well as for recruitment and expanding its community base.
