Clair provides early access to earned-wages with a focus on hourly and gig-economy workers. The company’s platform integrates with payroll, time, and attendance systems that allow staff to access the funds via a mobile app or debit cards, which are then deducted from the next paycheck. Clair’s earned-waged access service is free to use and serves as a customer acquisition funnel to bring revenue to its other products such as savings accounts, debit cards, and financial planning tools.
Clair also offers turnkey solutions for workforce software providers, allowing them to bundle Clair’s offerings with their own. As of July 2023, Clair had over 10,000 employers and 50,000 workers signed up for their platform.
