North America is Caterpillar’s largest market (47% of its total revenue in 2022), followed by Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (21%); Asia-Pacific (20%); and Latin America (11%). In 2019, the company announced a goal to double Machinery, Energy & Transportation (ME&T) services sales to USD 28 billion over 2016–2026 (USD 22 billion in 2022). Caterpillar also expects to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 30% by 2030 (from a 2018 baseline).
