Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Jaunt Air Mobility is an innovative aerospace company, with design and manufacturing operations based in Montreal, Canada. The company became a wholly owned subsidiary of AIRO Group Holdings, Inc. in March 2022. Specializing in the development of advanced electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) and hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft, Jaunt is at the forefront of transforming urban travel by enabling faster transportation for both passengers and cargo. As a global leader in Slowed-Rotor Compound (SRC) technology, Jaunt has pioneered the revolutionary Jaunt Journey, the world's first aircraft that combines the capabilities of both helicopters and airplanes, according to the company. Its patented technology slows the rotor once aloft (the rotor tip speed equaling the aircraft’s pace) thereby reducing drag and associated vibration. This, combined with a small cruise-sized wing, enables its aircraft to achieve an exceptional lift-to-drag ratio comparable to fixed-wing airplanes, resulting in highly efficient and quiet flights. In the rare event of a total loss of propulsion, Jaunt's aircraft are equipped to perform safe and controlled landings through autorotation or gliding techniques to ensure a superior flight experience with minimal noise and enhanced safety measures.

Jaunt Journey is a piloted aircraft carrying up to four passengers. The eVTOL can travel an estimated range of 80–120 miles at a maximum speed of 175 mph. The company was aiming to achieve certification for Jaunt Journey by 2027.
