Formerly Les Merveilloeufs, Le Papondu is a French plant-based tech startup developing egg substitutes. The product is expected to have a separate white and yolk, similar to a chicken egg. The company has not disclosed the ingredients it uses. The startup plans to commercialize its product by 2021.
In October 2022 , the company launched Papondu Beaten–the company’s first product. The company is also working on developing a plant-based egg whole-egg alternative featuring a biodegradable shell.
