Skyway Technologies specializes in vertiport infrastructure and planning. The company’s core offerings include eVTOL and unmanned aircraft airspace mission planning services, vertiport airspace management services, autonomous vertiport ground services, and professional vertiport planning and development services for public, private, and hybrid clients.

Skyway's approach involves designing efficient vertiports and aerial corridors that integrate with urban infrastructures. Through comprehensive simulations, it refines processes and technologies before implementation, ensuring operational readiness and safety.

Skyway's acquisition of AAiM High Consulting LLC in November 2022 expanded its vertiport planning capabilities, incorporating advanced methodologies like operational simulation modeling for high-traffic VertiHubs. AAiM also offers VertiPark, an eVTOL airfield designed exclusively for vehicle maintenance, charging, and storage.

Key customers and partnerships

Skyway partnered with Eve Air Mobility in October 2022 to integrate Eve’s Urban Air Traffic Management (UATM) software solution with Skyway’s air traffic vertiport operation services.

In February 2023, Skyway partnered with Moonware to prepare vertiports and ground infrastructure for the arrival of eVTOL air taxis. In October 2023, Skyway Technologies announced a partnership with Berg Holdings, a Bay Area real estate developer, to accelerate the development of a comprehensive vertiport network in Northern California. This partnership aimed to support eVTOL industry development and facilitate passenger and cargo transportation between key locations like Mountain View, Marin County, Sonoma County, San Jose, and the East Bay I-680 corridor.

Skyway also collaborated with Siemens in 2023 to develop vertiports and evaluate the required electrical and digital infrastructure for supporting vertiport operations. This partnership combines Skyway's expertise in airspace mission planning and management with Siemens' infrastructure knowledge in electrification, vehicle charging, and facility operations.

In August 2024, the company partnered with The Edge Company to utilize AI in developing systems capable of detecting and mitigating wildlife risks and thereby facilitating safe and sustainable infrastructure for UAM.
