Fireside

Fireside is a web3 streaming platform that offers podcasters and other creators audience engagement tools to host interactive live shows. The app was co-founded by Falon Fatemi and Mark Cuban. Through a membership model, Fireside provides super fans with unprecedented access, such as involvement in the writer's room. Notable figures like Jay Leno, Melissa Rivers, Craig Kilborn, and the creator of HBO's Entourage have already joined Fireside, using it to pioneer new show formats and entertainment networks. 

Fireside incorporates tools for audience engagement and various features that assist creators in tasks such as promotion, editing, measurement, distribution, monetization, and audience expansion. These elements are all part of Fireside's comprehensive content production experience, providing creators with an end-to-end solution. Furthermore, the company has been actively exploring web3 technologies, including the use of NFTs.

Fireside generates revenue through a 3% fee charged from creators until the creator makes USD 30,000 in revenue. Thereafter, the fee increases to 15%.

In November 2022, Fireside acquired the open streaming TV platform Stremium, thus allowing content on Fireside to be showcased on connected TV devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Roku, smart TVs, and others.

Funding and financials

In April 2023 , Fireside secured USD 25 million in Series A funding. Investors included Paris Hilton, Tim Connors from PivotNorth, Zeke Bronfman and Evan Abraham, Redbeard Ventures, and others.
