Streaming app Fireside confirms USD 25 million Series A funding

  • The interactive entertainment app Fireside, which was co-founded by serial entrepreneur Mark Cuban, has confirmed its USD 25 million Series A funding round through a recent investor update. The round valued the company at USD 138 million. It revealed that new strategic investors, such as Paris Hilton, Redbeard Ventures, and Tim Connors (PivotNorth) have joined the company. 

  • Fireside's platform offers a range of audience engagement tools and features, and its shows can be recorded, saved, or even simulcast to other social networks. The platform's creators can monetize their shows by selling tickets or inserting advertising. Fireside has attracted well-known creators such as Jay Leno, Michael Dell, Melissa Rivers, Craig Kilborn, and Doug Ellin.
